Roaster or Griddle?
I have been teaching "Hot Rock Magic" since 2001 and switched from the labor-intensive, not-as-sanitary & "more work than necessary" use of a roaster containing water to a "griddle and no water" method of hot stone massage years ago. The students who take my class are amazed and delighted at how easy it is compared to a roaster. However, there are many therapists who claim that using water to heat rocks is the "pure" method and are resistant to trying something new. Do you use a roaster? Does your spa? Have you heard about the "griddle method?"
